Now on to my project for today. I wanted to share with you a layout that I created of my family's dear close friends who were murdered in their home just last week from a break in. Its so tragic and such a shock. I felt I needed to create a tribute to them and have a poem that goes along with it that I and their close friends and family could read to help their hearts go through this.
Here is the layout:

The Poem:

Weep not for me though I am gone, into the gentle night. Grieve if you will, but not for long with my sweet soul's flight. I am at peace, my soul is at rest...I am in the arm's of the Angels. There is no need for tears, I am safe in the wings of the Angels and with your love I was blessed. There is no more pain I suffer not, all the fear is gone.Put now these things out of your thoughts and let my memories live on. Remember not to strife. Please do not dwell on my death, but celebrate my life.

Recipe for the Layout:

This layout I did as a digital layout since I really wanted the clouds and fantasy look. I normally do traditional scrapbooking but for this particular layout it called for a digital theme. Little Scraps of Heaven had the perfect little Angel bears and Heaven's gate that incorporated so well with the layout. What is so wonderful about their files is the .png file that come with it that you can do a digital scrapbook layout with them as well.
