For my project, I created a "Red Envelope"

It is custom for elders to give a gift of money to a child for New Year's in a red envelope. By doing so it is to bring you and the child good luck, prosperity and happiness. The color red is a symbol of happiness. Traditional red envelopes are often decorated with gold Chinese characters like happiness and wealth. There is a custom way to give and receive this red envelope as well. When giving someone a red envelope, use both hands to present the red envelope to the recipient. The red envelope is also received with both hands. The recipient of a red envelope at Chinese New Year or on his or her birthday should not open it in front of the giver. This is for respect.
